KRISTIN JUNG
Founder
Founder
A junior in Tucson, Arizona, Kristin is fascinated with cognitive science and its interdisciplinary approach of psychology. She founded UrBetterBrain as she felt like her cognitive abilities could use some improvement during the COVID-19 pandemic, and wanted to share her improvement with the world. She makes graphic design posts for our social media, writes blog posts, and handling administrative duties.
ISHITA CHITKARA
Graphic Designer/Blog Writer
From New Delhi, India, Ishita has always been interested in cognitive science and how people can have different personalities and react differently in situations. She's also intrigued by how to brain works, how it can be trained to think differently, and how memory can be sharpened. She loves the initiative of UrBetterBrain and how it can help those with mental illnesses like Alzheimer's with fun games to improve their memory, while removing the stigma of these mental illnesses.
HADEEQAH QUAZI
Graphic Designer/Blog Writer
Hadeeqah is originally from Okinawa, Japan and her parents are from Bangladesh. She has been living in Texas for the past 10 years of her life. She's interested in cognitive science because she's fascinated by how the mind words and responds to important situations such as fast reflexes. She's been a great asset to UrBetterBrain by designing our social media posts and writing blogs about cognitive science while exploring other parts of psychology.
CHETNA KUMARI

Chetna is a Student-Athlete and Psychology undergraduate Research Assistant at Shaw University and is majoring in Psychology and Mass communication. She is currently serving as a Sophomore Class Vice-President, SGA PR team member, and Psychology Club member. She is impassioned about mental health and raising awareness of its importance.
VASUNDHARA CHAUDHARY

From Chandigarh, India, Vasundhara is a 16-year-old 12th grader with physics, chemistry, and biology as her main subjects. Her passions include writing, painting, oratory, dancing, and spreading happiness and kindness. She also has a keen interest in mythology as well. She is the founder of a firm in Mental Health dealing with mental health, positivity, and life lessons through her instagram account @inspire._.dose. She has a keen interest in Mental Health as it actually is the need of the hour and helping someone after all gives her ultimate satisfaction. She likes to inspire people to live their lives with peace of mind and to stay happy. UrBetterBrain has the same mission to educate people about mental health, cognitive science so she decided to join hands with us to ultimately help us both to inspire and educate the world.
ANUSHREE APPANDAIRAJAN (ANU)

A high school graduate from UAE, Anushree (goes by Anu) has loved reading and science from a very small age and spends hours reading about human psychology and cognitive science. She is currently looking to join either a research program or an engineering course in India. She is in awe of how the human brain functions and the more she reads the more she realizes that what we know about our brain is just a small fraction of what it is capable of. She would love to write for UrBetterBrain and bring this sense of wonder to the audience!

Currently a junior at Catalina Foothills High School, Summer is super excited to be a blog writer for UrBetterBrain and to further her knowledge about cognitive science. She is particularly interested in psychology and is excited to do research and venture into more understanding as she composes and posts essays for UrBetterBrain. Along with being passionate about journalism and wishing to pursue it throughout her life, she also rides horses, loves to travel, and enjoys artwork including watercolor and figure drawing.

A 16 year old from Ontario, Canada, Raffia believes that mental health has been a taboo topic for far too long. People don't give mental illnesses the same acceptance or support as physical illnesses. She aspires to write pieces that are informative yet written in a way youth can actually comprehend. Through UrBetterBrain, she hopes to promote the destigmatization of mental health as well as educate youth on the relationship etween mental illnesses and cognitive science.
MARIAM RAMOUL (FATIMA)

Mariam is a high school senior who had not even considered psychology when she was considering what she wanted to do in the future until she took her first psych class. After that, she registered to take the psychology of self-regulation at Harvard University and continued to take college level psychology classes. For her, it has went from a simple class to a dream and soon-to-be reality. Psychology isn't just a subject, it is a key to understanding people, societies, and how the world around us functions.
